Terms of Use
Effective October 21, 2026
1. What this site is — and is not
The Aid Window (aidwindow.com) is an independent deadline-information site operated by Sunday Robbo. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, StudentAid.gov, any state aid agency, or any college. We do not process FAFSA applications and cannot check the status of your aid. Always confirm deadlines at StudentAid.gov, your state agency, and each college's financial aid office — if an official source disagrees with this site, the official source is correct.
2. Information, not advice
Content here is general deadline information, not financial, tax, legal, or college-counseling advice for your specific situation. Eligibility for any aid program is decided by the agencies and colleges that run those programs.
3. Accuracy
We verify every published date against official sources and print the source and checked date on each state page. Deadlines can change — including after we publish — and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a date that an agency later changed. Re-check your date before you act on it.
4. Our content and your use of it
The writing, design, and code of this site belong to Sunday Robbo. The underlying dates and facts belong to no one. You may quote short excerpts and our published dates with credit and a link to the page used. Republishing full pages, scraping the site in bulk, or presenting our content as your own requires written permission (an email reply from us counts). Government agency names and program names (FAFSA, Cal Grant, TEXAS Grant) belong to their respective owners; we use them only to describe those programs.
5. Email alerts
If you subscribe, we send reminder emails about the state deadline you chose. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. We don't guarantee delivery — spam filters exist — so treat email as a backup to your own calendar, not a substitute for it.
6. Affiliate disclosure
This site may earn commissions from clearly labeled links to financial products (for example, student-loan marketplaces). Commissions never change our dates, rankings, or what we publish: a deadline is a deadline. Sponsored content, if any, is labeled as such. (FTC disclosure.)
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sunday Robbo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site, including missed deadlines after an agency changed a date. The site is provided "as is."
8. Contact & governing law
Our public contact email is being set up with this domain and will appear here as soon as it's live. Found a security issue? Please describe it (with steps to reproduce) via the address once posted — we don't offer a bug bounty. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do.
